The excursion
The long-awaited moment of the Excursion has arrived.
Fantasy Faire is full of lights and colors. All the shops of the fair
They are open from early in the morning, and in the evening everyone awaits the Events with dances and songs in a calendar full of attractions of all sorts.
In the best tradition that is repeated every year at Fantasy Faire, to ward off the evil that afflicts all of humanity.
The creatures of Fantasy Faire welcome travelers from all over the world, with colorful and gaudy outfits.
Thia is also beautiful and proudly wears the emblem of the elves of which she is a proud ambassador depicting a half moon, a symbol of peace, love and prosperity for every Elf since time immemorial.
Following her with an elegant step is her mother Pamela who scrutinizes everyone from top to bottom as if no one were worthy to stand beside her.
Ryanna is added to the two beautiful elves, a good-looking warrior fairy, as noble as she is strong. She bangs and wings happy to find her friend Thia of her and gives her an awkward and shy smile.
Soon after Richard arrives in the company of Rollo, a wise and conscientious mushroom friend.
Richard, however, appears silent and hesitant as if he were reflecting and thinking about who knows what. He greets, reserving a gallant bow to the girls present, and then stands next to Pamela. To watch her every move.
Soon the Fantasy Faire painter arrives breathless
-You are all beautiful! A portrait ?! It won’t cost you anything, it will be my gift for so much beauty! –
Thia smiles defiantly looking for the complicity of Ryanna who stands beside her, while Rollo shyly hides behind Rchard – Pamela looks really strange! – He whispers to his friend who is continuously massaging his beard between thumb and forefinger, a clear sign of tension that Rollo, from the top of his wisdom, immediately notices. But the painter calls him distractingly – Sir Mushroom please come forward. You are so small . and nice at the same time that he is a pity to stay hidden! – Rollo jumps and positions himself ahead of the group, he strikes a pose as if he were a celebrity on the Hollywood walk of fame, nothing less than that! .
A touch of color together with a touch of Fantasy Faire magic and the portrait is ready!
The painter shows it to those present who applaud as a sign of gratitude …
Everyone …
except her: Pamela, who leaves the Fantasy Faire fair without too much delay
- I’m going home, I have a bad headache! – she exclaims suddenly in a theatrical tone.
Thia shrugs all too accustomed to her mother’s behavior and turns her attentions to Ryanna, the sweet fairy friend who whispers to her – Thia once you finish your studies you will be able to travel and you will be the greatest ambassador of the Elves in the history of Fantasy Faire, this is the my wish! And with her fairy dust it makes Thia even more beautiful with lots of colorful butterflies fluttering around her joyfully. Richard gives her a smile, for a moment. Rollo approaches him giving him a complicit look – Have you seen Pamela’s behavior? – Richard nods without answering, still thoughtful, to then join all the other students and continue the Excursion, setting aside for a moment Pamela and her abrupt and impolite ways.
